Welcome,

We are George de Jong & Adé Visch.

We live along a 16th century harbour in one of the most charming, pitoresques cities  of The Netherlands. However, it's in the middle of the centre of our town, but it's very quiet, only local traffic and many  shops (wide variety), many restaurants with all kinds of food, close to the cheesemarket, nice terraces and a safe area.

Alkmaar is a 12th Century city.  It's close to the sea with beautifull beaches and dunes. Also typical Dutch landscapes with tulipfields, windmills and farms are closeby. There is a very good public transport to the main cities in The Netherlands like Amsterdam and Haarlem(30 minutes), The Hague and Rotterdam (60 minutes), the south of Holland - Maastricht and the North of Holland Leeuwarden and Groningen. 

Our hobbies are: sailing, bicycling, walking, swimming, kayaking, reading, nature, art, cooking, .

    Our house is 1200 sqf , comfortable and well decorated
